~ Beach Walk ~

Gathering shells along the beach is one of my favorite things to do! There are so many shells to pick from and my favorite shells are the perfect ones, you know the ones, the kind that are strong, not broken or only slightly broken , the ones that look good, full of color and are all put together!

Well, I do a lot of shelling along the ocean and those perfect, slightly broken shells are hard to find.

You see the ocean waters are unpredictable, strong and it's spinning the shells along the ocean floor with force causing those pretty, put together shells to break and shatter in one way or another during their corse of life.

Sounds like our life here on land!

This brings me to the thought of how we like to choose people to be apart of our lives, a lot like the way we choose our shells. We look for that perfect person, you know the ones, the kind who are put together, solid and strong, not broken, they look good but I wonder how good they really feel and look on the inside, in their heart.

Is this an act of judgment ?

You see, God Love's You and I. He wants a relationship with us.

God sent Jesus, His Son to all of us to be right beside us as we move throughout this life we are trying to live. The Bible states in

John 3:16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

Jesus came to love us, give us hope and faith in Him."

John 3:17 God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. (NLT)

God has made a way to meet you and I directly so we can experience His Great Love one on one.

Our struggles in life are real and when we feel like we have gotten to deep or lost in the ocean our instinct is to swim back, back where we find comfort and safety but many times we think, I've got this, I'm going deeper even though we hear in our heart, The Holy Spirit telling us to turn back. Our Pride can cause us to sink and drown. Listen to your heart, the Holy Spirit, He will take you and I where we will experience the true life of peace and joy.

The next time you're at the beach gathering shells, make sure you pick up the broken and slightly broken shells because God loves us the way we are, broken and slightly broken. God see's the perfection in our hearts which is the Love of Jesus. ❤

1 Samuel 16:7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” (NLT)
