Our Neighbors around the World!

January 19, 2019

Have you ever wondered why we worry about people in other countries? Why should we worry about women and children, boys, girls stuck in slavery on the other side of the world?

I’ve asked myself this question multiple times because the USA has so much trouble in our own backyard, what’s the point to help others across the world?

Last January 2018 I took a trip to Thailand to experience first hand what happens in the sex slave industry better known as Human Trafficking on the other side of the world.
What a shock!
It was difficult! It was difficult to watch these young girls do what they have been told to do and believe this is there future.
I experienced their lifestyle, where they live and learned their culture.
As I pondered all year with the memories of my Thailand experience I see clearly why I went to the other side of the world.

I went to be the voice for the voiceless and no matter who you are or where you live we are Gods Children here in the USA and around the world and He has called us all to love one another.

God gave me the ability to see and feel how these young women and children feel when they’re selling themselves and trapped in a world of darkness. I’m sure their dream as a little girl or boy wasn’t to grow up and be in the sex trade industry or a stripper was yours?

While in Thailand I also met and heard the stories of older women who wanted to get out of the sex industry of trafficking but can’t because they didn’t have an education or a respectable trade to fall back on to support themselves and their families.

When I write these stories it reminds me of what happens here in the United States. Lack of education and poverty creates vulnerability and people are easily manipulated.

So why do I do what I do? Because God has moved in my heart no one deserves to live this lifestyle here or there, everyone deserves a chance in life even if it’s just one that gets rescued and saved it’s another one closer to God.

Freedom in Jesus is freedom to dream, freedom too be who you want to be. Only God knows our future but He is currently asking me to be the voice for the voiceless.

Can you join with me and help me fight human trafficking in our world as well as our community.

Thank you and God Bless. ❤️

I am accepting donations towards my Thailand Mission Trip in March 2019. Thank you! ❤️
